Heavy Pencil is 1 year old and to commemorate this we have put together a one-off limited edition album of 7” sized postcards and CD from illustrators, musicians and DJ’s who’ve been involved over the past year. To launch the album and to celebrate the first birthday we have a special Heavy Pencil event in the theatre with live music, audience drawing, cocktails and two (yes two) sets of projections.  Not content with one illustrator at a time we have invited the ICA student forum to draw versus the pros in a live clash of talent and pencils in response to live music from Django Django.  Illustrators involved include Anthony Burrill, Ian Stevenson, Luke Best and Andrew Rae from the Peepshow Collective – DJ’s the Student Forum.
